The town set was built specifically for the series on North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia

Synopsis

Unravel the mystery of a town in the middle of the USA that imprisons anyone who enters it. While struggling to maintain a sense of normalcy and find a way out, the residents must also survive the dangers of the surrounding forest.

All that remains are cobblestone streets and paths, and a fake town has been built on top of them

Known as Beaver Bank Mansion, the site has a long history and was once home to apartments, a community center, a fire station, a school, a church, a grocery store, etc. (all demolished in 2004) to support the workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s.

When Boyd climbs a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. Martin (presumably) dropped a rope on him in the room above, despite his wrists being chained together.

The trailer seemed like a mix of a few different shows like Wayward Pines, Lost and a bit of Under the Dome. I was expecting it to be a vague story after seeing that it was produced by the same creators as Lost, but it has a solid story and the characters are likeable.

A pleasant surprise

While it’s not perfect, it’s suspenseful and good enough to keep me on the edge of my seat.
