Synopsis

Ingrid and Martha were close friends in their youth, when they worked together at the same magazine. After years of not speaking to each other, they meet again in an extreme but strangely sweet situation.

They both had Julianne Moore in mind

Featured in The 7PM Project: Episode dated September 8, 2024 (2024). There are more happy moments than sad ones in this film, although its main theme is death and how we deal with it or not.

Other reviews say that it’s nothing new from the director

I haven’t watched much of Almodóvar, but I was interested in seeing his first English-language film, especially with Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton. Not having seen many of his films, I can’t confirm that.

I don’t know about that, I think less is more

I admire how he can take something we have a hard time talking about and bring color and happiness to it. There also seems to be a consensus that more could have been done with the characters considering the quality of actors available to Pedro Almodóvar.

Why do more?
